Welcome to the goal setting course. I'm excited to have you aboard!
Throughout this journey we are going to cover a lot of ground. For instance:
- What goals are and why they are so important
- How to set them
- How to achieve them
- Plus much, much more
We are going to start slow, but will ramp up fast. I'll start off each module by providing an explanation of what to expect. And from there, we dive in.
We'll explore everything that you need to set (and achieve) effective goals for yourself; both foundational concepts as well as detailed, step-by-step instructions on what to do each step of the way.
My goal for you is to walk away from this course with a true understanding of how to set and achieve your goals. Because when it comes to mastering your time and creating your ideal life, goal setting is an absolute necessity.
Now at this point, you're probably excited and ready to go. You want to learn as much as you can as quickly as you can so that you can start changing your life for the better right away.
And it's probably safe to assume that you don't want some long, drawn out first lesson.
I get it. I understand it. But, there are some things that I need to point out before we can proceed.
This course is primarily text-based. Why? Because you're determined, you're driven, and you want to change your life for the better.
So why would I try and slow you down by showing you 15 minute long videos when I could explain it to you in a succinct paragraph or two?
Text is much easier to digest, process, and revisit if needed. You don't need to remember which video and which second or minute you left off.
You can quickly go back to any section of this course and get back to learning. So keep this in mind as you go through the course:
Text = Faster learning for you
The course is broken out into several modules. Each module is filled with multiple lessons. Each step of the curriculum is laid out in front of you and each step goes in order.
One lesson leads to the next lesson which leads to the next after that. Everything flows forward to the end goal of completing this course.
With that in mind, I recommend moving through the course in the order that it is laid out for you. Otherwise, if you jump around you may have some gaps in your understanding.
So do me a favor and take it one lesson at a time.
I want you to succeed. Truly. I want you to be able to walk away from this course with the confidence that you can not only set effective goals, but actually achieve them.
So if at any point you feel stuck, lost, or confused, here's what I recommend doing:
- Try going back and re-reading the previous lesson first to see if you missed something important.
- If that doesn't do the trick, try re-reading the current lesson you're stuck on in case you glossed over something.
- And if that doesn't work either, go through the next lesson to see if that adds any extra clarification.
